Muller Martini has announced the retirement of regional sales manager Frank Donnelly. Mr Donnelly will step down on 30 June after a 45-year career in the graphic arts industry, including almost 20 years with the company.
Mr Donnelly began his career as a general labourer in a bindery before progressing through roles including operator, supervisor, bindery manager and pressroom manager. After 25 years in manufacturing operations, he joined Muller Martini as regional sales manager in 2007, bringing experience as both a former customer and user of the company’s finishing equipment.
During his career, he witnessed the industry’s shift from labour-intensive production to increasingly automated workflows, including the emergence of Smart Factory manufacturing. Muller Martini said he earned a reputation for his technical knowledge, collaborative approach and long-standing relationships with customers.
Andy Fetherman, president and CEO of Muller Martini Corp/Muller Martini Canada, said: “Frank’s career reflects the very best of our industry. His expertise, integrity, and commitment to customer success have earned him the trust and respect of colleagues and customers alike. His contributions to Muller Martini and the printing industry have been significant, and we are grateful for the impact he has made throughout his career.”
As part of a planned succession, Jonathan Conant will take over Mr Donnelly’s sales territory as Regional Sales Manager from 1 July. Mr Conant joins the role with more than 20 years’ experience in manufacturing and quality management, most recently at Lakeside Book Company.
Mr Fetherman added: “Jonathan’s extensive manufacturing background and customer-focused approach make him exceptionally well suited to continue serving our customers. We are confident that he will build upon the strong relationships and foundation that Frank established.”
