Vasion has launched Intelligent Print Automation (IPA), a new platform designed to help organisations manage document workflows and address the growing challenge of unstructured enterprise data.
The company says IPA uses the familiar File > Print workflow to capture documents before they become disconnected from wider business systems. Rather than allowing files to be printed, saved as PDFs, or scanned into unmanaged folders, the platform can automatically route documents to a range of destinations through configurable workflows.
According to Vasion, the launch comes as organisations face increasing volumes of unstructured information. The company cites industry research suggesting that around 80% of enterprise information exists in unstructured formats such as documents and files, with those volumes expected to increase significantly as AI-driven content creation expands.
IPA integrates with existing applications and infrastructure and is available to current Vasion customers without requiring migration to a new platform. The company says the software builds on its existing deployment footprint of more than 30 million enterprise endpoints across 14,000 organisations.
The platform combines several document management and automation capabilities, including eForms, eSignature, OCR-enabled storage, intelligent document processing and no-code workflow automation. These functions are managed through a single cloud-native platform.
Ryan Wedig, co-founder and CEO, Vasion, said: “The market that was supposed to solve this problem was full of companies rolling up acquisitions, squeezing margins, killing innovation, and calling old hosted software SaaS. We took a different path: a substantial, multi-year R&D investment to build a cloud-native, multi-tenant platform with fully immutable microservices that was ready for single-click AI integration. Intelligent Print Automation is here, and we built it.”
Richard Edwards, head of professional services & commercial – DS at Vasion customer SCC, said: “We’ve watched our customers pour significant investment into AI transformation, only to hit a wall when they realise the data powering their business is locked inside documents their stack simply cannot see. Vasion’s Intelligent Print Automation changes that entirely. It doesn’t ask organisations to change how they work; it makes the action they already take every single day the entry point for everything AI was supposed to deliver. For us as a partner, that’s an extraordinarily compelling conversation to bring to market.”
Vasion said IPA is designed to meet the security and compliance requirements of regulated industries and is available immediately.
