eProductivity Software (ePS) has named Lauren Smith as chief marketing officer, with responsibility for leading the company’s global marketing organisation as it continues to develop its presence in the packaging sector.
Based in Pittsburgh, USA, ePS said Smith will oversee global marketing strategy, brand positioning, demand generation and go-to-market alignment. She will work closely with commercial and product leadership teams to strengthen how the company communicates with customers and partners worldwide.
Ms Smith joins ePS with more than 20 years of B2B marketing experience across software and SaaS businesses. During her career, she has led international marketing teams and supported organisations through periods of growth, transformation and expansion.
The appointment follows the recent launch of CommandCore, ePS’s unified operational platform for packaging manufacturers. The company said it is focused on helping packaging businesses simplify operations, improve visibility and create more connected manufacturing environments through packaging-specific technology.
Douglas Braun, CEO of ePS, said: “Lauren brings a strong combination of strategic marketing leadership and operational focus. As we continue building momentum following the launch of CommandCore, her experience scaling marketing organizations and aligning them closely with business objectives will be invaluable. We are excited to welcome her to the executive team.”
Commenting on her appointment, Ms Smith said: “I’m excited to join ePS at such an important stage in the company’s growth. The launch of CommandCore represents a major step forward for the business and for the packaging industry more broadly. My focus is on building a marketing organization that strengthens how we engage the market, supports commercial growth, and helps customers clearly understand the value ePS can deliver.”
She added: “ePS has a strong vision, deep industry expertise, and a unique opportunity to help packaging manufacturers modernize the way they operate. I’m looking forward to working with teams across the business to support the company’s continued growth.”
