Soyang Europe has introduced InstaFloor, a printable cushioned floor covering designed for high-traffic commercial, retail and event environments.
The PVC-based material has been developed to combine visual impact with underfoot comfort, measuring 2.6mm in thickness to provide a cushioned feel while maintaining dimensional stability. According to the company, the product is resistant to indentation under regular footfall and also offers sound reduction benefits, positioning it for use in busy public spaces.
InstaFloor is compatible with UV print technology and is supplied in widths of up to 4m and roll lengths of up to 30m. With a weight of 1475g per square metre, it is aimed at short-term applications where both durability and ease of installation are important, said the company. Suggested uses include branded walkways, feature aisles, event entrances, point-of-sale zones and fashion show catwalks.
The material also meets key safety standards, including EN 13501 fire resistance and EN 16165 slip rating, allowing it to be used in environments where compliance with health and safety regulations is required.
Oliver Mashiter, sales director at Soyang Europe, said the product responds to sustained growth in demand for floor graphics. “We’re excited to be introducing this highly flexible and durable product into an area of the market that has been extremely busy in recent years,” he said. “The demand for floor graphics has rocketed, with brands and marketers using it as a way of connecting with the consumer. InstaFloor has been designed to not only deliver a stunning visual impact but also provide comfort underfoot, all while remaining structurally sound throughout the lifetime of each application.”
The launch adds to Soyang Europe’s portfolio of digitally printable wide-format and superwide-format media, as the company continues to target applications that balance performance requirements with creative opportunities in print-led environments.
