SwissQprint UK has announced it will host an Open House at its Bracknell facility on 22–23 April 2026, offering print service providers and industrial businesses the opportunity to see its latest flatbed technology operating in a live production environment.

The event will focus on productivity, integrated workflow performance and application development. Central to the demonstrations will be the company’s Generation 5 flatbed printer, which will be shown running within a production-style setup designed to reflect real-world workflows.

Visitors will be able to view a range of applications produced on the system, including high-speed 8×4 output, FSDU and display production, embellished packaging, relief and texture printing, and roll-to-roll work. The demonstrations aim to highlight both throughput and the versatility of the platform.

Erskine Stewart, managing director of swissQprint UK, said the aim of the event is to present the technology within a broader production context. He noted that productivity in modern print environments depends not only on print speed but also on the interaction between hardware, workflow and operator expertise.

Alongside the hardware demonstrations, the Open House will also feature integrated workflow solutions developed in partnership with Caldera, OneVision and printIQ. The sessions will focus on how automation, data management and production control systems can contribute to improved operational efficiency and cost management.

Caldera will demonstrate its RIP and pre-press solutions, including CalderaRIP and PrimeCenter, designed to manage and streamline large-format production. OneVision will present its modular workflow system, including a file preparation package intended to automate and manage key stages of the print production process. Meanwhile, printIQ will showcase its management information system (MIS), which supports estimating, production management and financial workflows while offering real-time business insights.

The event will also highlight swissQprint’s UK-based support infrastructure, with attendees able to meet the company’s local technical and applications teams and learn more about the services available to customers.

In addition, companies attending the event will be offered access to complimentary specialist pre-press training focused on relief and texture printing.
