CMYUK Group has launched CMYK Europe, a new company intended to serve customers across Europe from a planned facility in Warsaw, Poland.

The move will see the business replicate many of the products, services and support structures that CMYUK has developed in the UK and Ireland. The company said CMYK Europe will draw on the group’s experience in digital print equipment, applications, customer service, sales and marketing.

CMYUK is known in the large format digital print sector as a supplier of printers and finishing equipment, working with technology partners including EFI, Canon, Mimaki and JWEI. According to the company, the European operation will mirror its existing service-led approach, with particular emphasis on engineering support.

The group said it has invested heavily in its UK service and support department over the years, and that this model will now be extended into mainland Europe. Its £3 million demonstration and training centre in the UK has also been central to its approach, giving customers the opportunity to test equipment in conditions designed to reflect their own production environments before making investment decisions.

“The foundation of our success has always been our customer service and engineering reputation,” said Robin East, CMYUK’s group chief commercial officer. “We know what the market needs because we’ve spent decades helping customers test, evaluate, and deploy technology in real-world conditions. Operating CMYK Europe from Poland allows us to serve the European market from a central, fast-growing region, while staying true to the model that has worked so well in the UK and Ireland.”

As part of the expansion, CMYK Europe is recruiting sales professionals across European territories, alongside engineers to support the new operation from Poland.

“We are very excited to develop our business and replicate our model into Europe,” added Mr East. “The foundation we’ve built over two and a half decades gives us real confidence that we can build a significant business serving European customers.”
