Fujifilm will launch two new business development programmes, “Make More” and “Aspire”, at an event held on 27–28 January at its European headquarters in Ratingen, Germany.

The initiatives are aimed at helping print-on-demand (POD) customers increase revenue and improve profitability through the use of Fujifilm’s Revoria range of digital presses.

The “Make More” programme has been developed to complement Fujifilm’s POD portfolio, alongside its workflow and support services. It is designed to provide training and resources to print businesses and creative professionals, focusing on areas such as production quality, application range, business growth, operational efficiency and sustainability.

According to Fujifilm, the programme will support customers in producing higher-quality print jobs, expanding into a wider range of substrates and paper formats, and developing new applications using speciality finishes and customisation. It also aims to improve production processes through automation and to promote more energy-efficient workflows.

Mark Lawn, head of POD at Fujifilm Europe, said: “Fujifilm as a business has always driven value through innovation. We’re proud of the market-leading print technology that sets our customers apart from competitors and gives them the best chance of success, but for us, it has never stopped there. Our service and support are just as critical to our success as a business, and to that of our customers. ‘Make More’ and ‘Aspire’ are exciting extensions of that Fujifilm support offering, equipping Fujifilm Revoria customers with even more tools to realise their business ambitions and ensure long term success, even against a challenging economic market.”

The “Aspire” programme forms part of the “Make More” initiative and focuses on Fujifilm’s “Super Colour” capabilities, which go beyond standard CMYK printing. It is intended to help designers and print businesses explore the use of speciality colours and embellishments.

As part of “Aspire”, Fujifilm will provide access to training content developed by independent experts, covering topics such as five- and six-colour printing techniques. Designers and operators can attend live training sessions, receive access to metallic colour swatch tools, and use design guides offering file preparation advice.

In addition to technical training, the programme includes sales and marketing resources for print business owners, such as promotional samples, profit estimation tools and customer-facing materials, aimed at supporting commercial growth and return on investment.
