EasyCut has released Easy Cut Studio 6.016, the latest update to its sign design and vinyl cutting software. The latest version adds support for a wider range of entry-level and professional cutters, including Vevor Smart1, Vevor TT-450, E-Cut TT-450, YOW! CraftY, and Roland CM series machines.

The new update builds on the existing Easy Cut Studio 6 platform with a focus on broader hardware compatibility, workflow stability, and ease of use. According to the company, the update is designed to make print-and-cut production more accessible for new users, while offering experienced operators greater flexibility and efficiency when handling more complex jobs.

“We are very proud that our software is compatible with more models of cutting plotters, helping our customers achieve outstanding results,” said Eric Johnson, director of global marketing and sales at EasyCut. “EasyCut has always been dedicated to simplifying complex workflows and making professional printing and cutting accessible to everyone. We are confident that printing and cutting with Easy Cut Studio Version 6.016 is more efficient than ever before, with the guarantee of delivering better results no matter the application.”

Among the newly supported devices is the Vevor Smart1 desktop vinyl cutter, aimed at creative, DIY, and small-scale commercial users. The machine features automatic blade pressure adjustment and auto-tracking to help deliver consistent cutting results across a wide range of materials. With Easy Cut Studio 6.016, Smart1 users can manage both design and cutting tasks within a single software environment.

Support has also been added for the Vevor TT-450 and E-Cut TT-450 auto contour cutters. These compact systems are designed for print-and-cut applications such as stickers, labels, and signage, using camera-based or edge-detection registration to achieve high cutting accuracy. EasyCut notes that both machines share similar hardware and performance characteristics, making them suitable for small businesses and craft users.

In addition, Easy Cut Studio 6.016 now supports the Roland CM series, including CM-12, CM-24, and legacy CM-300, CM-400, and CM-500 models. This reinforces EasyCut’s commitment to maintaining compatibility with both new and discontinued cutters.

Beyond hardware support, the update includes new Oracal vinyl colour palettes, updated cutter drivers, interface language additions, improved multi-machine cutting support, and full compatibility with macOS 26 Tahoe.
