Fastbind has named CJB Printing Equipment as its official distribution partner for the UK, strengthening local availability and support for its binding and finishing solutions.
Under the agreement, CJB will supply the full Fastbind portfolio to UK customers, including machines, consumables, and accessories, all available from local stock. The partnership is intended to improve delivery times and provide more direct access to sales support, demonstrations, and technical expertise for UK print businesses.
CJB specialises in print finishing equipment and works with customers to improve quality and efficiency across a range of production environments. As a UK-based distributor, the company will also offer guidance on machine selection, installation, and ongoing consumables supply, tailored to individual workflows.
Commenting on the appointment, Carl Boulter, managing director of CJB, said: “As part of our ongoing commitment to supporting the UK print industry, we are delighted to bring Fastbind’s innovative products to our UK customers. Their machines are reliable, versatile, and ideal for companies looking to produce professional-quality finishes.”
Fastbind said the partnership reflects a shared focus on quality and customer support in the UK market. Jaakko Huotari, CEO of Fastbind Maping Co., commented: “We are delighted to welcome CJB as our new distributor in the United Kingdom. Their strong market presence, expertise, and shared commitment to quality make them an ideal partner for us. We look forward to a successful and long-term collaboration.”
Through CJB, UK customers will have access to Fastbind’s binding and finishing technologies for a wide range of applications. These include professional book production, premium presentation materials, and photographic albums, as well as other short- and medium-run finishing requirements.
Fastbind said the move is designed to give UK printers faster access to equipment and more responsive local technical support, reducing reliance on overseas supply. Customers will also be able to view machines through live demonstrations and receive hands-on advice on how Fastbind solutions can be integrated into existing production workflows.
