Antalis has extended its Coala and Kernow portfolios with three new self-adhesive films designed to offer improved application performance, print quality, and creative options for display graphics.
The Coala 1D Daily Air Free is a 100-micron monomeric printable film with a polyethylene air-release liner that enables bubble-free installation. Available in gloss and matt finishes and widths of 1370mm and 1600mm, it is compatible with solvent, UV, and latex printing. Antalis positions it as a cost-effective material for everyday use, saving installers time on application.
The Coala 2D Daily Blockout Air Free is designed for double-sided graphics such as window displays. The 160-micron polymeric film incorporates a blockout layer between two white faces, ensuring vibrant prints on both sides without show-through. Designed with durability of up to five years, it is supplied in 1370mm x 50m rolls and is compatible with solvent, UV, and latex systems.
Completing the line-up is Kernowjet Metalik, a PVC-free PET-based film with a high-gloss chrome or gold finish for premium and seasonal displays. At 55 microns, the metallic film is available with permanent or removable adhesive and in widths of 1372mm and 1524mm. It is also printable with solvent, UV, and latex inks and targeted at high-impact graphics such as festive promotions.
Mike Collins, product manager at Antalis, commented: “Antalis offers a complete range of large format digital media, including substrates for indoor and outdoor use, for solvent and water-based ink systems. These three, state-of-the-art new products strengthen Antalis’ position as a leader in the supply of cutting-edge self-adhesive materials. From quick and easy application to advanced blockout technology and premium metallic finishes, we are equipping our customers with solutions that deliver creativity, efficiency, and impact.”
