Xanté has unveiled its largest UV flatbed printer, the X-121. The machine will be shown at Printing United Expo in Orlando, Florida, from 22–24 October.
The new model features a 5 x 10ft full-bleed imaging area, capable of handling up to fifteen 18 x 24in yard signs simultaneously, aimed at helping print providers increase productivity while reducing turnaround times. Despite its size, the printer has been designed to fit through a standard doorway for easier installation.
The X-121 builds on the company’s X-98 platform and incorporates dual or quad Epson i3200 printheads for CMYK and white, with support for substrates up to 3in thick. Compatible materials include wood, glass, metal, acrylic, vinyl, coroplast, and paper.
Robert Ross Jr., president and CEO of Xanté, said: “The X-121 is more than an upgrade, it’s a declaration. It’s built for shops that are serious about growth. We’ve combined the size, speed, and quality our customers demand.”
The launch also coincides with the release of iQueue 17, the latest version of Xanté’s workflow software. It introduces features such as AI-driven colour matching, ADA-compliant braille, white ink effects, multi-panel design, and real-time job costing. As with previous versions, iQueue is supplied free with every Xanté printer.
Additional features of the X-121 include 110V operation with dual 220V vacuum pumps for media hold-down, a jig for printing on small objects such as golf balls and mobile phone pop sockets, and Xanté’s UV Unlimited Technology for curved and cylindrical items such as mugs and bottles. An optional roll-fed attachment with cutter is also available.
