The Printing Charity is calling on everyone working across the print, paper, packaging, graphics and publishing sectors to take part in an industry-wide survey. The results are intended to build a clear picture of the realities facing people in the trade today.
The survey, which runs until Friday 4 July 2025, marks the first step in a major research project intended to inform the charity’s future services as it approaches its 200th anniversary in 2027. It covers both professional and personal experiences and is open to individuals in all job roles, sectors and business sizes across the industry.
Working with research specialists Aha, the charity aims to gather data that will shape the development of practical, emotional and financial support programmes.
Neil Lovell, CEO of The Printing Charity, said: “Our focus is clear: to ensure that the support we give to people in print and the allied trades is relevant and has impact. As we approach our 200th year in 2027, this survey will tell us about what matters to people working in the industry, across all job roles, industry sectors, and business sizes. We are asking people in print to support us by sharing the survey with their employees and with their broader networks.
“By gathering this depth of data, we will be able to ensure that the services and support we plan going forward are fit for the future, responding to the true needs that people in print have. What we learn will help our industry, too, giving insight on how best to support businesses and their employees’ needs.”
The survey is confidential, with all data collected under the Market Research Society code of conduct. Participants will have the chance to win one of four £50 Amazon vouchers.
