Riso’s new ComColor X1 inkjet system.
The latest in the ComColor series of high productivity, high-speed printing solutions has been introduced into the UK for the first time by Riso UK.
Designed to provide a cost-effective solution to the diverse needs of printing, the new ComColor X1 series incorporates a range of feed and delivery options that enables users to complete projects in one easy process.
Managing director, Tatsuo Murakami, commented, ‘We are pleased to announce the release of a new lineup of high speed, full colour inkjet printers that lead their class.
‘Due to the ComColor X1s increased versatility and capability, Riso believes that the introduction of the new series will result in it appealing to an even wider market.’
According to the company the new series prints with low running costs for both colour and black and white that are virtually unmatched by any other devices in its class.
The machines use a quick-drying inkjet formulation, which remains stable and permanent on the paper, and, according to the company, the ComColor 9150 remains the fastest cut sheet printer in the world, capable of a high-speed output with up to 150 sheets per minute.
The ComColor X1 series’ paper feed technology enables a smooth operation with most types of uncoated paper from lightweight to heavy stocks and envelopes.
Due to the choice of available controllers the X1 Series can handle print jobs from short runs to large variable data printing when required.
Efficiency will be further enhanced with the introduction of the all-in-one book maker system Perfect Binder and the Wrapping Envelope Finisher, which prints, folds, inserts and seals a completed mail piece.
