Zerographic Systems Ltd has hailed its event for members of the professional print industry as a success, promising to host similar proceedings on an annual basis.
Members of the industry gathered at the company’s Wakefield facilities on 5 November. Professional Print 2014: Turning Science Into Art centred on the challenges facing digital printing companies and the role technology plays in tackling them.
On hand were guests from leading industry organisations including the British Printing Industry Federation, Xerox, XMPie, EFI and Morgana.
Head of marketing, Toni Gibiino, said, ‘We saw Professional Print 2014 as an opportunity to create an arena in which print professionals could discuss the real issues they encounter on a daily basis.’
The feedback from speakers and delegates, he added, indicated that the event served its purpose. ‘Zerographic really wanted to demonstrate that we’re a partner for success, rather than just a supplier of production printing equipment and solutions. I believe we achieved this. ‘Based on the success we are planning to repeat this event annually.’
