The newly appointed administrators of ‘photonic’ printing technology manufacturer Lumejet have appealed for any parties interested in buying the business to contact them as soon as possible.
Restructuring specialists at PKF Cooper Parry are overseeing the administration of Lumejet Ltd and its holding company Lumejet Holdings Ltd. These companies employ eight highly specialist staff.
Buyers are being sought immediately for the combined business, which includes patents, know-how and other intellectual property, as well as a stock of finished and part finished machines and a small service operation.
Nick Edwards, director at PKF Cooper Parry, said: ‘This is a difficult situation, as substantial sums have been invested in developing this technology, and working machines have been sold and are already with customers.
‘We have started the process of looking for potential buyers for the business. Anyone who is interested in purchasing the business, should contact us as soon as possible.’
The Coventry-based business has sold a handful of its innovative S200 printing systems (pictured), which are renowned for their high quality if sedate speed of output, to print companies in the UK, including Altaimage, Clicks (which has two), TG Print & Design and Barnard & Westwood.
Lumejet had made no official comment on the situation at the time of writing.
