The Newtech 2015 show at the London Oval

Newtech is expanding with three new partner exhibitors for 2016 after a successful opening event in Corby. Hobkirk Sewing, GMP Laminating and Rayner’s Engraving make up the new additions.

‘We are all delighted to be adding such innovative and exciting products to our local networking and marketing events. They are obviously proving very popular with both buyers and exhibitors. It’s also great to see our exhibitors expanding with new staff and premises helped by the sales from Newtech and we are already taking bookings for 2017’ said Martin Morrissey, managing director at Coactive Events, the organisers of Newtech.

‘We are delighted to be exhibiting at Newtech Glasgow for the first time’ said Marcus Gannon, retail manager at Hobkirk’s. ‘Established over 100 years ago, we have a team of 20 dedicated and knowledgeable staff covering all areas of domestic and industrial sewing and embroidery machines.’

Hobkirk’s will be exhibiting the Diamond 1501-Touch Screen (15 needle) industrial embroidery machine and the Brother PR655 (6 needle) professional machine.

Another new addition is GMP, ‘We specialise in thermal and cold laminating films and provide an unrivalled range of laminating machines. At the forefront of the world’s best lamination solutions, our latest innovation at Newtech is Sleeking. A select range of our laminators are now equipped to offer creative spot varnish, foil and Sleek digital print finishes with one quick process all in-house with or without lamination. All of our films and machinery are manufactured to the highest standard by GMP Korea and converted in our state of the art facilities in the UK’ said Amy-Louise Strevens of GMP.

Kevin Rayner of KP Rayners said, ‘Rayner’s at Newtech will be offering the full range of Roland engraving machines each suited to a wide range of applications. From giftware and jewellery to industry, medical equipment and funeral plates for your hobby or your business. Roland has the engraving machine to suit you.

At the Newtech show we will be exhibiting the Roland EGX- 30A, EGX-350, and the MPX-90. Roland engravers are fast and incredibly efficient. Manufactured in Japan the machines are robust and easy to use. From simple engraving into plastics to engraving into materials such as wood and stainless steel, whether you wish to engrave straight forward text or detailed photographic images into metal, the possibilities really are endless when you use Roland to transform your imagination into reality.’

The Newtech Glasgow show will take place on 15 March 2016 between 10am and 6pm at the Hilton Strathclyde, Bellshill.
