The UK distributor of Hexis S.A.’s full range of films and media for professional signage, vehicle marking, visual communication and surface protection applications, Hexis UK, has announced its plans for the upcoming Sign & Digital UK event held from 19 to 21 April.
The company will promote its range of PVC-free A5000 series films as well as distribute the accompanying new brochure. This high performance next generation 60 micron high gloss cast polyurethane film is suitable for outdoor signage applications and can be applied on a wide variety of flat, concave or convex surfaces.
PVC and phthalate-free, Hexis A5000 Smartac Evolution offers easy weeding down to 3 mm and is suitable for use in and around schools, colleges, universities, hospitals, councils, museums, and children’s play areas.
The company will showcase its SUPTAC premium opaque European grade 100% polymeric PVC vinyl with a high gloss finish and over 100 colours to choose from. It can be used for a wide gamut of signage applications including slightly complex, curved and flat surfaces for signage, shop windows and more.
The digital division will promote the recently announced PVC-free HX500WG2 and HXL300WG2 films at the show. The HX500WG2 is a 50 micron cast polyurethane high gloss film designed for the ‘greener’ wrapping of vehicles. It is compatible with solvent, eco-solvent, latex and UV curable inks and offers enhanced printing properties including better ink diffusion, optimised ink consumption and ink savings, thereby reducing overall ink costs.
The HXL300WG2 is a high gloss 100 micron cast latex film for flat and slightly curved surfaces. This durable film is suitable for billboards, hoardings, posters, wall and vehicle graphics.
The company’s automotive division will be highlighting its Super Chrome HX30000 vehicle wrap. Currently available in seven colours – red, purple, green, blue, titanium, silver and gold – with four more colours being introduced this spring.
Skintac HX30000 and HX20000 series films, with the largest colour selection in the market will also be on display alongside Hexis Bodyfence, a 155 micron ultra-clear self-adhesive polyurethane film with advanced surface technology. It is specifically designed for the protection of vehicle bodies and features impact and shock proofing properties. It also protects vehicle paint from chipping, scratches and minor dents, as well as insects, UV rays, car wash brushes and much more.
The company will also have a Secabo TC7 heat press for demonstration purposes and will be pressing T-shirts during the show for giveaways.
Managing director Scott Wilkins commented, ‘Our main aim for the show is to make sure existing and potential customers realise that we are a supplier of many products and we have something for every user, no matter how big or small.
