PONGS Illuminati backlit textile
As of 1 January 2018, CMYUK is the UK exclusive distributor of PONGS Direct-Tex Softimage Contrast (black back textile) and Illuminati backlit textile.
‘With its true black reverse and a super bright-white print face Direct-Tex Softimage Contrast is perfect for large exhibition wall wraps and event backdrops,’ said Michael Crook, commercial director at CMYUK, ‘It also has stretch, which makes the installation of super-wide graphics that little bit easier. It is printable from both dye sublimation and UV equipment, with excellent colour punch and image quality.’
The company has noticed a switch to more environmentally friendly PVC-free materials, within both the retail and event sectors. Also available is PONGS Illuminati, a backlit textile for dye sublimation printing, offering a natural soft textile feel, with stretch and excellent colour reproduction.
‘The technology behind this new knitted textile eliminates pinholes when backlit and the soft-touch structure greatly reduces creasing and bruising, making it the perfect backlit textile for retail displays,’ Mr Crook added.
