Against the grain
Following the successful launch of his book, Against the grain, How I went from factory floor to my own multimillion pound company, (and you could too) Graham Harris, Tech-ni-Fold managing director has made it into the Amazon Best Seller list.
The accolade came about following a book promotion Mr Harris ran throughout the print industry, resulting in hundreds of sales which elevated the book from near-obscurity.
Mr Harris explained, ‘It’s difficult for new authors to get noticed in an overcrowded and competitive market, no matter what potential their book may offer, and for me it was no different. I decided to promote my book to our own customers and industry contacts we know, and they supported me without hesitation, not only that, the feedback has been excellent – most loved reading my story of how I brought my own invention (the Tri-Creaser) to market. Our loyal customers and the print industry as a whole have given me a platform to go outside of print, into areas I can help inspire other people too, and I am indebted to them.’
