CWT Graphic Worktools has launched the CWT Foam Cutter, marking its entry into dimensional signage and adding a new product category to its portfolio.

Known for its flatbed applicators and trimming solutions, the Swedish manufacturer said the new system is aimed at sign makers, print shops and promotional product companies looking to bring dimensional letters and logo sign production in-house.

According to CWT, the move reflects growing demand for dimensional signage as part of day-to-day sign production. The company said many businesses still outsource foam cutting or depend on CNC systems that require significant investment and specialist training, and is positioning the Foam Cutter as a simpler alternative for professional use.

“Dimensional signage is becoming a natural part of everyday sign production,” said Markus Ryberg, CEO and partner at CWT Worktools. “With the CWT Foam Cutter, we’re launching a new product category that helps more sign shops bring dimensional work in-house – to expand their offering, shorten lead times and deliver a premium result with confidence.”

CWT said the Foam Cutter was developed as a complete workflow, with hardware and software created in parallel. The system has been developed with SignCut as part of what the company describes as a professional design-to-cut setup.

Manufactured in Sweden, the machine has been designed for long-term use in professional sign environments and includes patent-pending features intended to support stable and repeatable cutting. CWT said its compact and quiet design is intended to make it suitable for smaller workshops and straightforward to integrate into existing production setups.

The CWT Foam Cutter is built for standard foam board sizes and can handle sheets up to 1300 x 610mm with thicknesses up to 150mm. It cuts 100% recyclable polystyrene and can be used to produce dimensional letters, logo signs, retail signage, trade show graphics, and architectural or creative applications.
