The company has replaced its previous-generation Latex devices with 15 HP Latex 830 printers and two HP Latex 830W models, strengthening capacity and supporting continued business growth.
Introduced earlier this year, the HP Latex 830 Series forms part of HP’s latest large-format portfolio, designed to improve productivity, deliver consistent print quality, and offer sustainability benefits for small and medium-sized print service providers. According to Botak Sign, the investment has contributed to a 20% increase in both sales and production volume, enabling faster turnaround times and improved responsiveness to customer demand.
Botak has more than a decade of experience with HP Latex technology and has built its reputation on speed, consistency, and innovation. The transition to the new printer series has delivered sharper colour reproduction, particularly in yellow and green tones, alongside higher print speeds and more efficient production workflows.

As part of the upgrade, the company is also using HP PrintOS Live Production, providing real-time visibility into printer performance, job status, and operator productivity. The addition of features such as “RIP on the go” has helped streamline workflows, allowing jobs to move through production more quickly and consistently.
“We have always believed in pushing the boundaries of what print can do, and the HP Latex 830 printer series keeps our production at the cutting edge,” said Sim Boon Keng, owner of Botak Sign. “The colour vibrancy and durability are exceptional. HP’s commitment to continuous innovation allows us to operate smarter, deliver faster, and grow with technology that evolves alongside us.”
The new equipment also supports expansion into applications such as customised window films using white ink, vehicle wraps, and made-to-order signage. Improved speed and colour accuracy are enabling Botak to take on more complex work and collaborate more closely with installers across a wider range of materials.
Sustainability remains a key factor in Botak’s technology choices. HP Latex water-based, odourless inks support better indoor air quality and align with the environmental expectations of corporate clients. The durability of Latex prints also allows Botak to offer warranties of up to five years on outdoor applications.
“Botak’s decision to adopt the recently launched HP Latex 830 Series reflects its focus on maintaining a modern, capable production environment,” said Daniel Martinez, SVP and division president, HP Large Format Print. “Its long-standing trust in HP highlights a shared commitment to performance, sustainability, and operational excellence.”
