Ricoh has secured a further four-year term as a supplier on Crown Commercial Service’s (CCS) Multifunctional Devices (MFDs), Print and Digital Workflow Software Services and Managed Print Service Provision framework. The re-appointment follows its previous renewal in 2021.
The new agreement covers Lot 2, which provides a compliant route to market for MFDs and related services, and Lot 3, which offers fully managed services for larger central government agencies. Ricoh has also been appointed to Lot 4 for the first time, supplying and maintaining MFDs for the pan-government print solution, GovPrint.
GovPrint is designed as a plug-and-play, zero-infrastructure option that allows buyers to choose from pre-configured devices that automatically sync with departmental networks, simplifying setup, and reducing complexity.
Paula O’Brien, board director of sales at Ricoh UK, said: “This long-standing partnership with CCS continues to enable us to support public sector organisations on their digital transformation journeys – delivering technology solutions that improve public services and improve user experiences. With Ricoh’s legacy and expertise in sustainable innovation, we are especially proud to play a role in helping the public sector achieve its net zero ambitions.”
CCS is the UK’s largest public procurement body, helping public sector organisations obtain maximum value when sourcing goods and services. Ricoh’s renewed position on the framework highlights its continued role in delivering sustainable, efficient digital and print solutions to government and wider public services.
