Artworker, the cloud-based prepress automation platform, has announced a new integration with the PrintLogic management information system (MIS), developed by Wildcard Software.
The integration enables a more connected workflow for PSPs, linking estimates and orders in PrintLogic with preflight checks, corrections, and proofing processes in Artworker. The system creates a job in Artworker automatically when a new order is placed in PrintLogic, populating it with key details. Once artwork is approved and press-ready, PrintLogic is automatically updated, giving teams better visibility without duplicate data entry.
“Integrations between platforms are key to driving efficiency and innovation in the print industry,” said Artworker co-founder, Nate Duckworth. “PrintLogic has consistently been one of our most requested MIS integrations from our UK users, which is a testament to the value they add. We’re proud to deliver this connection, helping teams save time, reduce errors, and improve turnaround.”
Neil Wallis, director at Inkwell Printing, said: “PrintLogic was already doing a lot of the heavy lifting for us, but plugging in Artworker has taken a load of time out of the design studio, which means files are getting to press much quicker.”
He added that the integration has eliminated the need to rekey information and improved oversight across jobs: “Office staff can instantly see the status of a proof or artwork, and the files land exactly where they need to, with the right spec and order details already there.”
Peter Jones, managing director at Ashley Press, said the integration had brought improvements in accuracy and speed: “Proofing time, errors, fixes and sign-off time have come right down with a great reminder feature if your customer hasn’t yet signed off the proof.”
Mr Jones noted a drop in email volume from over 200 to around 40, adding: “We now feel in much control and our order-to-press process is much more streamlined and slicker.”
Sacha Pretot, managing director at 4 Creative Solutions, highlighted the intuitive interface and large file handling as key benefits. “This integration has allowed us to standardise our pre-press process under one system,” he said.
Geoff Needham, managing director at Wildcard Software, added: “Integrating this process with the many workflow tools already included in PrintLogic will save even more time for our customers, and we’re excited to continue our collaboration with Artworker in the coming months.”
