Self-adhesive materials manufacturer Drytac has released Polar HiGrab Air, a new self-adhesive vinyl product aimed at applications requiring strong adhesion to difficult surfaces. The product is now available in the UK and international markets.
Polar HiGrab Air is a 4.0 mil white matte monomeric PVC film designed for short-term indoor and outdoor applications. It features a high-tack, grey acrylic adhesive with built-in air egress technology, allowing for bubble-free installation. The product is available in widths of up to 1370mm (54in).
The film is constructed with a double-sided PE liner and a thicker face film to enable high-quality printing without the need for lamination. It is compatible with (eco) solvent, latex/resin, and UV print systems. According to Drytac, the product can reduce installation time and associated costs.
The company states that Polar HiGrab Air is suitable for signage on low-energy surfaces and rough materials such as brick, concrete, and machinery, and offers a durability of up to three years.
“This product allows users to take on a wider range of applications while keeping costs down,” said Dennis Leblanc, senior product and business development manager at Drytac.
Polar HiGrab Air adds to Drytac’s range of self-adhesive materials aimed at the large-format print and signage markets.
