Spanish print services provider Grupo Grafico has enhanced its production capabilities with the installation of a Fujifilm Acuity Prime L. The investment has been made to meet growing customer demand with faster turnaround times and improved print quality.
Founded in 1994 and employing 14 staff, the company produces a wide range of visual communication and printed products, including signage and personalised packaging. The Acuity Prime L has already made a significant impact to the business.
“We invested in this machine to handle a higher volume of work, reduce delivery times, and improve product quality,” said Oscar Ramon, commercial director at Grupo Grafico. “We were able to test it several times with our team using real jobs, and we unanimously agreed we wanted this machine in our facility.”

Much of Grupo Grafico’s work involves short-run production, where agility and speed are critical. Mr Ramon highlighted that the new press enables quick job changes and consistent quality, while offering zone-based production for efficient handling of smaller format work. “With the Acuity Prime L, we saw that job changes and subsequent printing were extremely fast, and the print quality is excellent,” he said.
Large-format signage, previously a bottleneck due to tight delivery deadlines, has also benefited. “We often had to work overtime to meet them,” Mr Ramon noted. “Now, we operate more calmly. That’s the main production benefit.”
The machine’s user-friendly design has also earned praise. “The ease-of-use stands out as the machine is very intuitive and reliable. The user interface is pleasant to work with, structurally the machine is well-built – and it looks good too,” Mr Ramon added.
Support from Fujifilm and its distribution partner Global Managing was noted as a key part of the installation’s success. Joan Casas of Fujifilm Graphic Communication, Spain, said: “We’re excited to see Grupo Grafico take full advantage of the Acuity Prime L’s capabilities.”
