CMYUK has expanded its service team with the appointment of Steve Evans as an application specialist/installation engineer. The move reinforces the company’s position in the UK’s wide-format digital print sector.
Based in Shrewsbury, CMYUK continues to experience strong growth across its service department, which supports customers nationwide. The role will include installations, technical training, and application support, particularly for the JWEI digital cutting tables, which CMYUK distributes exclusively in the UK.
Bringing nearly three decades of experience, Mr Evans joins CMYUK following senior engineering roles at ArtSystems and Colourgen. His expertise spans wide-format hardware, RIP software, finishing systems, and multi-platform system integration. Over the years, he has contributed to product testing, colour profiling, and performance benchmarking across a wide range of print and finishing technologies.
