Dynagraphics, a family-run print business based in Illinois, has become the first company in the United States to install Fujifilm’s Revoria Press EC2100S. The installation marks a key milestone for the manufacturer’s digital press technology in the region.
The investment is part of a wider strategy by Dynagraphics, which also includes the flagship Revoria Press PC1120 and a suite of inline finishing solutions from Fujifilm’s long-time partners GBC and Plockmatic. The new lineup, which was completed and made operational at the end of April, is intended to boost productivity, print quality, and expand the company’s service offering.
Dan Niebrugge, general manager at Dynagraphics, said: “We were blown away with how Fujifilm’s new technology opened up a whole new realm of possibilities for digital printing. From the unlimited possibilities made available with the addition of a 5th and 6th colour station to upgraded toner capabilities and fuser roll advancements, moving forward with the EC2100S and PC1120 were no-brainers as we continue to evolve and expand capabilities for our customers. There is truly nothing else like them on the market. We are thrilled to have a partner like Fujifilm who is as committed to the future of printing as we are.”
The Revoria EC2100S features Fujifilm’s Vertical Toner Development Technology for a compact footprint and delivers high image quality at speed. It has been paired with a Fiery EC21 digital front end (DFE) for advanced colour management, workflow automation and consistent output.
Alongside the presses, Dynagraphics installed the GBC FuturoPunch Pro for automated punching and a Plockmatic Booklet Maker BK450e to support enhanced booklet production.
“This first installation of the EC2100S at Dynagraphics is a momentous occasion for Fujifilm,” said Yuji Oki, general manager of Fujifilm North America’s Business Innovation Division. “It proves that the next generation technology we’re bringing matters and is much needed.”
