Signage and graphics provider Signspeed has migrated from Clarity Pro to the cloud-based Clarity Go management information system. The move unlocks remote working and improves internal workflows for the Pembrokeshire-based firm.

Signspeed originally adopted Clarity Software’s on-premises MIS in 2012. However, it had only been using a limited range of the system’s features. According to Sam Morgan, Signspeed’s director of operations, the switch to Clarity Go was driven to increase efficiency.

“We are a small, tightly run business, and we needed a system that would save us time,” she said. “Clarity Go presented us with a great opportunity.”

The migration process, which included a trial period and data syncing, was described as “easy and straightforward,” with the company using the opportunity to clean up existing data and invest in staff training. Ms Morgan noted the support team at Clarity Software was “always at the end of the phone to help.”

With Clarity Go now fully implemented, Signspeed has reported a 50% reduction in non-conformances and improved process visibility using modules such as job tracking and a live jobs board. The cloud system’s automatic updates also eliminated the downtime previously experienced with server-based upgrades.

“The need to work effectively by accessing the system from outside the office was the main trigger,” said Sam. “We essentially take the business with us wherever we go.”

Looking ahead, Signspeed plans to implement Clarity Go’s proof of delivery function and make greater use of its reporting tools for more accurate financial forecasting.

“We have generated significant time savings across the company, provided data-driven information for smarter management, and delivered the game-changing flexibility of accessing the system from any location,” Ms Morgan concluded.
