Duplo International is now UK distributor for the Fastback range of tabletop binding machines.
Made in the USA, these machines bind loose sheets into documents using thermally activated binding strips. The system is said to be more than three times faster than a conventional punch and bind system. The resulting documents lay completely flat, are suitable for posting and are fully recyclable.
Duplo is stocking the full range of machines and consumables and will use its dealer channel to get the products into the market.
The machines use patented Fastback binding strips. These are made of different materials with a choice of 16 colours. Customers can also order strips branded with their own graphics, images and logos.The Fastback system can also produce paperback and publisher quality hardcover books.
Duplo said this solution is ‘ideal for small digital printers looking to get into the dissertation, photobook or self-publishing market without a large investment.’
