Colour effects specialist Color-Logic has announced that effective from 1 March, it will ship the 2013 version of its software for metallic printing and special effects. Customers under maintenance contracts will receive the 2013 version at no additional charge.
The new version is fully compatible with Windows 8 and Adobe Creative Suite 6, and includes improved training tools and a simplified design interface. It will include full Chinese capability, in addition to German, French, Italian, Spanish, and English, which are already standard. Also included is extensive collateral material that licensees can use to quickly and easily demonstrate their Color-Logic capability to clients.
Richard Ainge, chief technical officer, said: ‘The 2013 version is fully compatible with the latest versions of Adobe software and all current operating systems. We continue to add new special effects and to provide users with press ready files to develop their marketing campaigns using our powerful creative materials.’
