Audionpack H22SA shrink wrapper

Three of Friedheim’s suppliers have released new additions to their product offerings giving the reseller a much wider portfolio for the year ahead.

Audion Elektro has upgraded of its Audionpack H22SA stand-alone shrink wrapper to improve operator efficiency. Among the upgraded features is a new PCB with the capability of being able to store 10 programs instead of the current six, the use of a larger fan in place of the existing two smaller ones, an ‘opening delay’ in the raising of the hood in order to prevent hot air escaping and blowing against the operator, and the placing of the electrical panel at the front of the machine to enable better access during service and maintenance.

Kohmann has recently introduced the SpeedPlacer, a Pick and Place unit that consists of a rotating suction arm driven by a servo motor. The magazine/ hopper is quick and easy to set with feed gates and guides, as well as a blowing device to support the separation of the products. The complete system is mounted onto the machine in such a way that other attachments can also be added, such as tissue box attachments, punch and score station, and tube forming station.

Productivity and quality can be maximised with the missing film detector and a pneumatic drop roller assembly underneath the suction cylinder. This is to prevent glue being transferred onto the suction cylinder in the event of a missing product. It is capable of converting windows and handles, as well as other flexible products, in various lengths, widths and thicknesses, and has the possibility of running at a mechanical speed of up to 12,000 items per hour.

A new extended buffer table has been introduced by Palamides for its alpha 500 and 700 stacking delivery systems. With the new buffer table in position, the number of finished products that can be delivered is increased to a maximum 30 stacks of A5, or 14 stacks of A4.

A mobile unit, the new extended buffer table introduced by Palamides can be retro-fitted to all alpha models of the ‘plus’ series, and no mechanical set-up is required.

The Palamides alpha stacking system itself is designed as a universal delivery for processing folded signatures, and is particularly beneficial to those users producing ‘books on demand’. The system features ‘Automatic Format Adjustment’, whereby the new format that is to be processed is measured at the infeed area of the delivery during the production run. The delivery then immediately sets itself automatically to the new format. This occurs within one second without production being interrupted.
