Gold medallist Steve Scott
England double-trap shooting star Steve Scott, sponsored by M Partners, hit a maximum of 30/30 clays, winning him the gold medal.
Twenty-nine year old Mr Scott, who also won gold at the Commonwealth Games four years ago in India in the double trap pairs event, came good this year with perfect shooting in the final against England teammate and training partner Matthew French.
Steve Scott commented, ‘I was hoping for a 27 but Matthew kept the pressure on me to the end with some awesome shooting. We have shot together before countless times, but I wanted to beat him, no doubt.’
In addition to thanking Murray Lock and the M Partners team for their long-term sponsorship, Steve was also keen to celebrate the victory of his friend and fellow England representative Charlotte Kerwood – gold medal winner in the ladies double trap event.
