During Viscom in Frankfurt, Seiko Instruments’ ColorPainter M-64s has been awarded the Viscom Best of 2014 Award in the category Large Format Printing.

The jury justified its decision as, since its introduction to the market, the inkjet printer has become a popular best seller for indoor and outdoor applications with a high level of customer satisfaction. Especially the possibility for unattended printing made possible through simple operation via social networks, such as Twitter, were just as impressive as the print speed.

‘This prize acknowledges the hard work that our experts and technicians have put into the development and improvement of this impressing digital printer,’ said Frank Kühn, general manager.

During Viscom the company also presented its latest generation of ColorPainter H-Series, which will use ColorPainter H2-104 as a foundation and will run with eco solvent SX-ink and most of ColorPainter M-64s’ technology will be also implemented in the unit.
