The IPIA Council has appointed Marian Stefani as interim CEO, following the departure of Andrew Pearce who managed the association for the last eight years.
The IPIA, established in 1990, is celebrating 25 years of bringing trade buyers and suppliers together to maximise their business opportunities with networking events, introductions and a range of exclusive Member benefits.
‘We were concerned that finding the right person to take over from Andrew would be very difficult as he has been the face of the organisation for so long,’ commented Kath Doran, lady chair of the IPIA. ‘So we decided to take some time to review the role we need filled and to develop a long term strategic plan for the Association. We are delighted that Marian has agreed to assist in the process and to run the day to day operations of the IPIA through this period.’
Marian Stefani is best known as the CEO and founder of RedTie W2P software and more recently has been working as a consultant helping print businesses grow their added value services.
Ms Stefani said, ‘I am excited to be working with such an iconic association. I love the print industry and believe that the IPIA has a unique opportunity to bring buyers and suppliers together and educate our consumers in marketing departments and in all areas of business to understand the fantastic solutions we offer as an industry. Andrew has done a brilliant job of building a very attractive benefit package and the networking and conference events are genuinely about making connections and creating business for IPIA Members.’
The next events taking place are the IPIA Spring Networking Lunch at the Bank Restaurant in Birmingham on the 20 of March and the 6 Annual Innovations Conference in April at Twycross Zoo in Warwickshire.
