HP demonstrated innovation across its graphics solutions portfolio, showcasing enhancements to HP Indigo 7800, 10000, WS6800, 20000 and 30000 Digital Presses at the Dscoop open in Dublin. 

Held at the Dublin Convention Center, 3-6 June, the HP Indigo 7r Digital Press was demonstrated for the first time alongside eight other HP Indigo presses.

 

The Indigo 7r is a reconditioned press which according to the company delivers the benefits of the market-leading HP Indigo 7000 series presses at a reduced price. HP says the presses undergo the same complete integration process and testing as new HP Indigo digital presses and are under warranty.The presses can be upgraded to include capabilities currently only available on Indigo 7800s, such as One Shot Color technology, automated on-press colour management aided by an in-line spectrophotometer and Smart Scheduling. In addition, the base configuration of HP Indigo 7r Digital Presses can be upgraded to include additional ink stations for up to seven colours, including white ink, and on-press special effects capabilities.

Nearly 200 units of the HP Indigo 10000 Digital Press have been installed at customer sites in 32 countries worldwide. Customers’ average print volumes have more than doubled year on year, and over 20 customers have added multiple units.

The latest enhancements to the press include advancements in colour uniformity, productivity and usability. The HP Indigo 10000 also features an expanded application range enabled by additional inks, including HP Indigo ElectroInk white.
