Guandong has hailed its presence at FESPA 2015 as a success after it received lots of visitor traffic to its stand, looking at the high potential and the innovative performance of its materials.

‘We found a change in the mind set of stakeholders, a new approach in their way of communicating, of doing business,’ said Edoardo Elmi, CEO of Guandong. ‘In fact, they have learned to leave their workshops and to start sourcing dedicated products that will give them a better way to interact with their potential customers/users. This means they are far more attentive to solid solutions that fit the needs of their market. It’s a giant step forward.’

For more than two years the company has understood this change and has been investing in the development of solutions by increasing its share in the digital market.

The results of this strategy include new product lines, such as the Nano-Tack technology for Window Deco Spot environments. Nano-Tack can be quickly applied to any smooth surface, without adhesives and without air bubbles. It is washable and can be removed and replaced an infinite number of times.

At the core of this technology is the surface treatment of the material: a special process which uses a specific atomised gel, to create an initial film consisting of 7,000-8,000 suction cups per sqcm. These microcapsules guarantee perfect grip to the support surface using a mechanical action instead of a chemical process.

‘This product’s extreme versatility means store staff can position messages as and when needed, without using an outside installer or decorator,’ said Fabio Elmi, marketing director. ‘This trade show has also been a driving force for progress in important partnerships with international distributors who will extend our company’s network. After Italy and much of Europe, our next challenge is to further extend Guandong’s range of action.’
