The Horizon BQ470 PUR Binder is just part of Precision’s new bindery range
Precision Printing has developed a book production department with a range of bindery equipment enabling it to bring PUR, Casebound and Lay flat book production in house.
The new equipment includes MitaCase (fully automated case making), Mitabook (fully automated casing in), three Imagining Solutions Fastbook 10CFs, Horizon BQ470 PUR Binder and a Horizon HT30C three knife trimmer.
The equipment will be part of a new bindery department at the company, Narrator, created to specialise in low run book production. Its automated print on-demand capability will be used to support the growth of this department.
Lay flat books remain a popular product for the company which hopes that bringing these services in-house will allow it to speed up the process and to also offer one copy lay-flat products.
