Lola Print overhauled its digital press technology with two new units, the Ricoh Pro C7100 and C5100, that both counter the challenge of rapid turnaround work and add new profitable services.

Tony da Franca at Lola Print said, ‘The new Ricoh Pro C7100 has opened up new possibilities for our clients, with a much wider range of media, longer sheet sizes and the fifth colour. The press is already in full production, with exceptional print results, and operators on the shop floor love the precise front-to-back registration. Ricoh worked very hard to establish a true partnership and have become trusted advisors, which gave Lola Print the confidence to invest in the new digital presses.’

A consistent service approach from Ricoh ensures both machines allow ease of operation for the staff meaning the company can save time and reduce errors.

The Pro C7100 series makes it easier for print service providers to offer diverse outputs to their clients and new revenue streams to their business. The Pro C7100 series delivers print speeds up to 90 ppm and supports media up to 360 gsm.  A key feature of the Pro C7100 series is its fifth colour station allowing clear gloss or white applications.

The Pro C5100S was the first Ricoh digital production printer to feature Ricoh’s enhanced toner transfer technology which delivers high quality print results on heavily textured stock. Wide media compatibility a key benefit of these models.
