The first ever Sweety of Milano, a two-day event at the Palazzo delle Stelline dedicated to top quality artisan pastry-making was set to a backdrop created by Pixartprinting.

‘This event underlined the importance of creativity, technology, passion and research, all key factors that pastry-making and our business have in common’, Andrea Pizzola, sales & marketing director at Pixartprinting said. ‘Sweety allowed us to demonstrate the extent of our range and the versatility of the products we offer to the general public, and in particular to those who work in the sector. As well as printed items aimed specifically at the world of catering, our decorations, furniture and a large number of promotional and branding tools enhanced an event where delicious and beautifully presented desserts took centre stage.’ 

During the event the Pastry Stars underlined how important it is to market one’s product effectively: attention to detail and the presentation of the dessert are crucial, but the elements that combine to create the brand’s overall image are equally important, from the way the location is set up and the packaging to promotional tools and signage.

Pixartprinting played a large role by providing communication tools and display items: from pieces of furniture including cardboard stools and fabric counters for the pastry chefs to display their specialities to signage such as the banner at the entrance and the POS displays around the exhibition. From products dedicated to caterers, such as branded napkins and placemats to packaging, such as cake boxes and paper shopping bags.
