The Mutoh ValueJet 1638X
Wide format digital printer manufacturer Mutoh has announced that its ValueJet 1638X and 2638X models, and Mutoh + 3M Universal Mild Solvent inks have been added to the 3M MCS (Matched Component System) warranty program for finished graphics.
The ValueJet 1638X and 2638X printer models and 3M Universal Mild Solvent inks will be combined and will provide fast production print speeds. This will allow 3M certified graphics manufacturers to provide warranties up to five years for various fleet and sign applications, and up to eight years for indoor applications, with the full support of 3M as total solution provider.
The warranty program will be available in the EMEA business area and targeted towards graphics manufacturers wanting to apply for the 3M MCS warranty certificate. The 3M MCS warranty covers fading, cracking, peeling and other aspects of graphic performance and assures end users that their images will perform as expected for the life of the graphic.
