The ValueJet VJ-1638X

 

Mutoh, wide format print manufacturer, will present its range of digital print solutions for sign and display at drupa.

Print industry visitors will be able to discover the benefits of the company’s made in Japan digital print equipment for short-run and mid-range production as well as for customisation and one off designs.

In EMEA première, Mutoh will display the new ValueJet 1638UH, a 64 inch wide high quality hybrid UV LED printer, for direct printing on a wide variety of rigid and flexible materials.

The range of printers on show at drupa include the ValueJet 1638UH, VJ-426UF, VJ-1638X, VJ-2638X, VJ-1938TX which features a dual staggered head set up for increased speed and two UV LED lamps for reduced cure time.

The ValueJet VJ-426UF, awarded as ‘best 2015 multi-purpose object printer’ by the European Digital Press Association, is a six colour (CMYK, white, varnish) A3+flatbed UV LED printer that allows direct full colour printing on a wide variety of solid materials and objects up to a thickness of 7 cm.

Developed specifically for sign and display applications, the VJ-1638X and VJ-2638X incorporate two high performance micro piezo heads mounted in a staggered configuration. Integrating Mutoh’s Intelligent Interweaving and DropMaster print technology as well as professional RIP software, the VJ-1638X and VJ-2638X deliver high print quality and the highest levels of print automation.

The company’s ValueJet VJ-1938TX direct textile printer is a 75 inch wide dual staggered head printer targeted at sampling of short-run on demand and local digital production of garments, upholstery, fashion, swimwear, home flexibles and more.

Delivering typical high quality production speeds up to 40 square metres an hour, the printer incorporates a newly engineered fabric feeding, front and back tensioning and motorised take-up system for media weights up to 100 kg.
