GI Solutions has achieved the president’s award (10 consecutive golds) in the annual scheme, run by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA).

The company will be presented with the award during a ceremony at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole hotel, on 13 July 2016.

The RoSPA Awards will celebrate 60 years of presenting highly regarded and sought after accolades to businesses and organisations that have shown commitment to accident and ill-health prevention.

Through the scheme, judges consider entrants’ overarching occupational health and safety management systems, including practices such as leadership and workforce involvement.

Julia Small, RoSPA’s head of awards and events, said, ‘To win an award at such a highly regarded event as the RoSPA awards is a great achievement for our winners. It recognises their commitment to maintaining an excellent health and safety record and raises the bar for other organisations to aspire to. We offer them our congratulations.’

Patrick Headley, CEO, said, ‘We are proud to have achieved the president’s award to acknowledge our efforts and achievements in this area. The president’s award, which represents ten consecutive gold medals, demonstrates GI Solutions Group’s long term commitment to improving health and safety for its employees and all others who come into contact with the company. Recognition and thanks go out to all that work at GI Solutions Group, as there is a strong system in place and it is this, combined with the support of the employees, that provides yearly improvements.’
