Rising demand for digital print has led to GI Solutions’ investment in a third HP T230 high speed digital inkjet press. The press has been installed and is in full production, increasing the company’s digital print capacity to 50% of total print capacity.
The press provides high quality digital print with 1200 npi, running at one million A4 sheets per day, with variable finishing facilities. This increases the company’s ability to provide customers with fully variable printed output. This speed, combined with the high flexibility and short response times, means quicker overall turnaround times.
Alistair Ezzy, managing director, said, ‘There has been an increase in demand for high quality personalised print. With this addition to our plant, we can effectively meet the requests of our customers, while increasing output. Research conducted in the market showed that the HP T230 was still the most suitable for our requirements.’
