Baumann BA2 NE unloader
Lexon Group has installed a Baumann BA2 NE unloader from Friedheim International to streamline sheet handling capabilities.
Based at Crumlin, near Newport in Gwent, the company specialises in producing pop-up mailers and other types of presentation merchandise, as well as paper and board laminating through its in-house printing and finishing facilities.
‘We are always looking at ways in which we can improve our production throughput, and our sheet cutting process was an area that came to our attention,’ said Garth Davis, managing director. ‘Having sourced what equipment was available to improve the situation we decided that the Baumann unloader was the solution we were looking for.’
According to Mr Davis the new Baumann unloader ‘is simple to operate and has so far performed exactly as we had hoped. It is already highlighting how beneficial a good, thoroughly researched purchasing decision can be in improving a company’s overall production efficiency,’ he added.
