David Kassler, group chief executive officer
Marketing and communications supply chain services provider Williams Lea Tag has appointed David Kassler as group chief executive officer.
Mr Kassler has spent the last decade as a CEO of private equity-backed businesses in the Media, Technology and Creative sectors, including EMI Music, Phones 4u and Deluxe Entertainment. In his new position, Mr Kassler will lead the independent global company with the support of Advent International, Williams Lea Tag’s new investor. He is based in the UK and has global responsibility for the business from 1 December 2017.
Commenting on his new role, Mr Kassler said, ‘I am delighted to have the opportunity to join the team at Williams Lea Tag. I have admired the business for many years and I am incredibly honoured to have the chance to lead such an iconic brand through its next phase of growth.’
He added, ‘We have exciting plans for the business that include further investment in our people and technology. With the support of Advent International, we also have the potential to acquire additional businesses to strengthen and expand our proposition for clients. I would like to thank the DPDHL Group, who is a valued partner of ours, for their support and investment in the business in recent years.’
