Antalis has acquired the assets and trade of Ovenden Papers from its administrators, bringing the paper merchant’s business and customers into the Antalis network.
The acquisition, completed on 18 September 2026, includes Ovenden Papers’ customer relationships, employees, premises and relevant operational assets. Ovenden will continue to trade under its family name, with support from Antalis in the UK and Ireland.
Antalis said its immediate priority is to ensure continuity of supply and service for Ovenden customers while it carries out a detailed review of the business and its future development.
The company will work with Ovenden’s employees, customers and suppliers during the transition, with the acquisition strengthening Antalis’ position in the UK paper merchanting market.
Antalis said the deal also creates an opportunity to combine Ovenden’s existing customer relationships and market knowledge with its own product portfolio, distribution network, technical expertise and resources.

Antalis said further updates will be provided as the transition progresses and its initial operational review is completed.
Antalis is part of KPP Group Holdings and operates across 32 countries, supplying paper, industrial packaging and visual communication media. The company has 105 logistics centres and serves around 100,000 customers.
