CMYUK has launched a new Sign & Graphics Materials portfolio, bringing together substrates for display graphics, signage, décor and specialist print applications.

The collection, which will make its debut at The Print Show 2026, has been structured to simplify product selection and reduce reliance on specialised, single-purpose materials.

It covers self-adhesive films, speciality materials and banner products, including the Decal, Biond, Utack, Uprotect, Ufabflx and Kavalan brands. CMYUK says the range combines established conventional products with alternatives carrying documented environmental and sustainability credentials.

Michael Crook, commercial director at CMYUK, said: “Print providers don’t need an overwhelming choice of materials with seemingly similar capabilities. What they need is a carefully focussed range with clear and accessible technical information, and knowledgeable support to help them identify the right material for each application.”

Among the new additions is Decal, a range of monomeric and polymeric printable self-adhesive films and laminates for applications including retail, exhibitions, vehicle graphics, interiors and out-of-home advertising. Products include permanent, repositionable and removable adhesives, alongside high-tack, bubble-free and dot matrix options.

CMYUK is also introducing Biond, a range of films and laminates manufactured in Portugal with certified bio-based material content. Selected products carry TÜV Austria OK biobased certification, with approximately 80% to 96% of their carbon content coming from bio-based sources, depending on the product.

A Life Cycle Assessment conducted by Portuguese polymer engineering specialist PIEP found that the best-performing Biond product assessed had a greenhouse gas footprint up to 88% lower than the traditional polymeric PVC product used for comparison.

The wider portfolio includes Utack speciality films for surfaces including walls, windows, floors and furniture, supported by Uprotect laminates. CMYUK’s Ufabflx PVC banner range covers widths from 1100mm to 5000mm, while Kavalan provides PVC-free banner materials for applications including blockout, backlit, frontlit and double-sided graphics.

The Sign & Graphics collection complements CMYUK’s recently updated digital textiles portfolio, with the company reorganising its materials offering into two areas: Textiles and Sign & Graphics.
