Roland DG is set to launch Dimense Surface, a new premium interior wallcovering brand, during London Design Festival 2026.

The company will introduce the brand through an immersive exhibition at SCP in Shoreditch, London, from 15-18 September, focusing on the use of texture in contemporary interior design.

Developed in collaboration with international design studios Nice Projects, JAM Studios, LOVEISENOUGH and KAD, the exhibition will explore how texture can be used as a central design element rather than simply as a finishing effect.

Original designs created by the four studios will be produced using Roland DG’s Dimense technology, which combines printed graphics with dimensional surface effects to create tactile wallcoverings.

The exhibition will also explore trends influencing interior design, including sensory design, wellbeing-focused spaces, sustainability and personalised interiors. Visitors will be able to view applications produced using Dimense Surface and examine the resulting textured finishes at close quarters.

Roland DG said the technology is intended to give architects, interior designers and specifiers greater scope to combine texture, depth and customisation within a single production process.

The exhibition will be open throughout London Design Festival week, with an official launch event, titled A New Era for Texture-Led Design by Dimense Surface, taking place on 15 September.

The launch event will include discussion around the role of texture in modern design and the creative possibilities offered by dimensional surfaces.

According to Roland DG, the launch comes as designers increasingly look to create more immersive and distinctive interior environments, with Dimense Surface intended to offer an alternative approach to conventional wallcovering production.

The Dimense Surface exhibition will run from 15-18 September 2026 at SCP, 135 Curtain Road, Shoreditch, London.
