John Good Limited has joined the Carbon Balanced Programme as a certified Carbon Balanced Printer, in partnership with the World Land Trust.

The move follows the company’s existing use of Carbon Balanced Paper and marks a further step in its efforts to reduce environmental impact and support conservation projects.

Through the programme, John Good will balance its carbon emissions by supporting World Land Trust initiatives that protect and restore threatened habitats around the world. The scheme enables businesses to address their carbon footprint while contributing to the preservation of ecosystems considered important for biodiversity.

“At John Good we have been choosing Carbon Balancing Paper for many years,” said Steve Bubb, commercial manager at John Good. “We’re now ready to go a step further and become a Carbon Balanced Printer, as testament to our commitment to reducing our environmental impact and supporting World Land Trust’s vital conservation work. We are proud to contribute to projects that help safeguard the planet for future generations.”

The company said the partnership will also allow its clients to engage with more sustainable print options without compromising quality.

Paul Opie, partnership director of CarbonCo, said: “We are thrilled that John Good has joined the Carbon Balanced Paper programme and community as a part of the immediate action to reduce impact at the business. Their commitment and investment in sustainability are embedded as a pillar of their business activity, making a measurable difference as we transition to a low-carbon economy. Using Carbon Balanced Paper and recently completing an investment and installation of a solar array. We really look forward to continuing to support them on their carbon reduction journey.”

John Good described the move as part of its wider focus on responsible printing, innovation and customer service. The company said its participation in the programme would support its aim of prioritising environmental sustainability across its printed materials and publishing work.
