Kyocera Document Solutions UK has appointed UFP as a Tier 1 distributor for its Ecosys hardware and wholesale toner, marking a return to a previous partnership between the two companies.
Under the agreement, UFP will distribute Ecosys printers and MFPs, along with wholesale toner for all channel customers. The arrangement also covers fulfilment toner for both Ecosys and TaskAlfa devices supplied to Kyocera’s authorised servicing dealers.
UFP previously acted as a distributor of Kyocera genuine consumables, and the renewed collaboration is intended to support growth for both businesses. For UFP, the partnership expands its hardware and consumables portfolio, while allowing it to build further on its existing relationships in the print and IT reseller market. For Kyocera, the appointment adds another established distributor to its UK channel network.
Both companies say they will work closely together to develop existing and new business opportunities, with a focus on ensuring continuity for resellers and dealers. UFP already works with a number of Kyocera partners, which is expected to help support a smooth transition for customers.
